Embrace your fate

There is this phrase: "amor fati". It encapsulates the welcoming of whatever happens in our lives, even the issues and the failures.

Accept life the way it is. Maybe you’ve been through trauma, you lost something precious or someone special, maybe you have some illness.

Accept it, embrace your condition the way it is, explore it, but remain unflinched. Don’t let it dictate it or let it modify your life for the worse. It can be extremely painful or hard, but you should keep on going, keep on doing what you’re supposed to do, even if you feel broken.

Don’t let a trauma deviate you from your path, hold you back or take you down. Use that trauma to build yourself up, make you better, use it as a boost on your path.

Keep Death in mind

Death claims souls every minute. For a lot of us, death comes sooner than it should, so if you’re still breathing, then you should be grateful, because some people went to sleep last night and won’t be able to wake up.

Each minute that passes is a dead minute. Now it belongs to death. So live in the present, appreciate that you’re alive, that you can have an impact on this world and use your time purposefully.

Keep calm

We all know some people that simply can’t go through the day without getting angry, and usually they get angry at the smallest, most insignificant things. Be prepared for problems, because you will never run out of them.

Also, keep in mind the things that you can change and the things that you don't have any control over. There is a complete waste of time to let yourself getting stressed out over problems that you can't even change.

Conclusion

Life is full of problems. Even when you get richer, more fit, or more healthy, you will still have problems.

They will just change, but never disappear. You should be able to bear difficulties, stress, and disruptions throughout the day without having mental breakdowns. You don’t need to turn into an emotionless machine to do that.

You can still feel strong unpleasant emotions, but don’t let them have power over you, because you’re more than your emotions and more than your body.
